SLMVRMC Imaging provides fast,
efficient services to aid physicians in the diagnosis
and treatment of their patients. The Radiology Department
uses PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)
technology for most modalities.
Our medical diagnostic imaging department is one of the most
complete in the region, providing inpatients and outpatients up-to-date
diagnostic services to both identify medical problems and monitor progress of
patient care.
Our board certified staff radiologists perform general,
interventional, angiographic, CT, and MRI procedures. The department is
supported by more than a dozen registered technologists representing registry
by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry of
Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, and the Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification Board. We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to
provide a wide variety of imaging tests.
