Diabetes Education Services

SLMVRMC Diabetes Education Program is the only one of its kind in southern Idaho, and has been awarded national recognition from the American Diabetes Association since 1999. The program serves clients with Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, and pre-diabetes (insulin resistance). The program focuses on self-management skills that enable clients and families to improve their diabetes care and personal health. Our staff consists of two registered and licensed dietitians (RD and LD) and two registered nurses (RN).
